After years of being a security consultant and software developer, Fuzzware has been a personal project that was born out of the need for a flexible fuzzing framework that I could use as part of my job, rather than writing new fuzzers for every client engagement. The ideas behind Fuzzware seemed flexible enough that it seemed like other security consultants and software testers might find it useful (after making it a bit easier to use and writing documentation for it).
